Photography
Portal photos are easy, traffic volume is low. Getting down the the stream is usually easy from either side. Snow made it difficult when we were there.
Parking
Parking is available on either side of the bridge along the shoulder. I park along the edge of the road on a muddy spring day. Needed 4 wheel drive to get out of the mud.
