Hyde Hall Bridge Glimmerglass State Park NY - 32-39-01 |
The Hyde Hall covered bridge crosses Shadow Brook, is located in Glimmerglass State Park in Otsego County. This Burr Arch was built in 1823, is the oldest covered bridge in New York state. It is a single span of 53 feet. This bridge carries a foot trail over the brook. |
Authentic Americana Village Bridge Madison, NY 32-27-01
| The only covered bridge in Madison County. This 33 foot long Warren Truss was built in 1968 in the Americana Village. This bridge crosses Mill Pond. |
Other Roydhouse (Warning Bridge) near Pleasant Valley, NY 
| This steel stringer bridge is visible from US Route 20, in Oneida County. I have dubbed this bridge the Warning Bridge because of the sign warning visitors, If they cross the bridge they will be detained until the law arrives. I took a quick picture and left. |
Newfield Bridge Newfield NY - 32-55-01
| The Newfield Bridge in Tompkins County. It is a historic bridge 115 ft. town lattice truss with arch, built in 1853. It was completely restored in 1972. Recent restorations have provided a park with better access to below the structure. Newfield Bridge Site |
