Description

The Meriden Bridge is a two span Multi-Kingpost Truss with a total length of 80'0". The spans are 36'-9" and 29'-3". It carries Colby Hill Road over Blood Brook in the town of Plainfield. This bridge was built in 1880.

Photography

The portals are easy to photograph because there is light vehicular traffic. The side view photos are difficult from the shoreline above the brook which is in a gorge.
